First September Challenge check in!

I hope all you people who decided to write 30,000 words in September with me are having a fine old time of it šŸ™‚

I’ve had a slowish start but still managed to write 4947 words in four days, so I’m on track.
Good news today is I thought of a second, third and fourth book to go after the current wip and I’d never considered it could be a series before. LOVE reading series and have always wanted to write one, so this was an exciting revelation for me.
Anyway this is a quickie just to see how you are all going?
IF you’ve been attempting the #30kinSept challenge, please give us an update in the comments section of this blog. And PLEASE don’t forget (if you’re on Twitter) to update us every now and then using the #30kinSept hashtag!
Hope you all have a fabulous and productive week!

  1. Woo hoo Rach. Sorry I had to pull out at the last minute. I had so much on.
I'll still be checking in to see how you are going, and who knows towards Wed or Thur I might begin. I'll let you know if I do though.

    Good Luck. šŸ™‚

  2. Yay, Rachel!

I'm somewhat unsure of exactly what my word-count was as of Sept 1, so I'm going to call my progress 7K so far, which sounds great except that I also have a 10K/week goal and my week ends today. šŸ™‚ May have to do some makeup work.

Am wondering if trying to finish a novel by end of Oct is setting myself up for failure. May have to reconsider …

  3. Great work!

So far mine only stands at around 2k… šŸ˜¦

Damn life getting in the way, but I'm positive I can get a good amount this week! Good intentions and all that!
